Yeah..... my old Fujifilm could take excellent pics at just 3.1megapixels.

You only need the extra MPs if you're going to print huge printouts or if you need some ultra-high resolution.

The industry standard for compact digicams seems to be about 7MPs these days. That oughta be more than enough for the average user.

the funny thing is, a lot of people with gianormous cameras don't even print 4R pics

kopiosatu SG

honestly, i just need the high megapixels to do my editing.

there is alot of data loss during the post processing.

i think for my next shoot i'll start processing with TIFF

viciouskitty74 SG

i don't take pic of myself anymore

I dont like taking pics of scenery. Its like.....there is so many more prettier pictures from internet.

fudgester SG

not if u wanna see the face of the girl at the background and the corner of the photo

So you can use Photoshop to zoom in on the girl and crop it to become a second photo?

Fatum SG

cannot go deep lah...but swim with it in a swimming pool..:)

ah chey ..... made me happy for a while .....

there isn't any good natively amphibious camera since nikon discontinued their nikonos series ... and that was in the film age ...

that's what i used to do for my friend

i'll swap it with your hasselblad... with phone attachment

i'll get that from MPB after he gets tired of it..

i get him an Akira DVD player for it

SevenEleven SG

errh...me?

you say that yourself

av98m SG

errh...me?

not just you. most people these days. which is understandable lah, since people just blog or do websites. so there's no need for gazillion megapixels unless you expect to do a lot of cropping.

the Bear SG
